The Arizona Daily Sun is the main newspaper of Northern Arizona and reaches tens of thousands of rural residents daily.Additionally, the CocoNuts have been featured in every single Coconino High School monthly newsletter since their inception. This newsletter reaches the families of over 1000 CHS students every month.

The CocoNuts have appeared on Flagstaff's local NAU TV station's "Northern Arizona Today"(04-02-09) (04-06-10) news program three times. This is the sole local TV channel in Northern Arizona.
The CocoNuts were also featured on the former KNAZ NBC Channel 2 News "Someone 2 Know" segment. At the time, KNAZ-2 was the only network affiliate in Northern Arizona.
The CocoNuts have also appeared on Phoenix's ABC-15 news program as part of their coverage of the 2009 Arizona FRC Regional. (03-21-09) The ABC-15 channel is broadcast statewide across Arizona.

The CocoNuts have presented to the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) Governing Board and the Flagstaff City Council several times. In addition, in 2010, the CocoNuts invited all the Arizona State Senators and Representatives and all the FUSD Governing Board members to the 2010 Arizona FRC Regional.
Business Outreach
In their initial year, the CocoNuts sent out several hundred letters to local businesses letting them know about the newly established team and about their accomplishments to date. The CocoNuts continue to present to potential sponsors, and the CocoNuts recognize their sponsors and donors with personalized thank-you cards and plaques.
